  Probably had my expectations too high for this. Something just didn’t quite ever click with me for this movie. It’s good just never really gets going. 

  The message is right in the surface. We are all expendable units to capitalism. Mark Ruffalo is Trump. Actually I think it hurt the movie that Trump won, which makes the shallow portrait here seem off as well. 

  Well acted though from some big names.

  I think this would have been better served though as a Korean movie. It feels like an American Remake of a movie that doesn’t exist but is still somehow better

  This sucks worse than anything I’ve ever seen in my life. I want to give it negative stars.

  The music is boring and trite. The filmmaking and shots range from flat to downright failing in my first year at film school level of junk.   Wow. A day later and I’m still asking to myself “what did I just watch?” But I think the better question is who? Where does the performance end and the person begin? And when someone is always performing, who are they?. Linda, Lydia and Blanchett all blur into something so meticulously practiced that it feels all at once incredibly real (which is born out in the wave of people googling “Is Tar a real person”) and also surreal.
