Holy fuck this film is disturbing as fuck. Always thought Matt Damon looked like a protagonist, but god damn he played this role well. Rip Peter in the end though bro did nothing wrong, shows that Matt Damon’s character has just fully become insane whether due to paranoia or obsession over change in fortune.

Forrest Gump 1994
I like how the movie illustrates all the major events in the 1960s-1980s era. Specifically really like the war movies, almost cried when Bubba died. Towards the end I did not feel as emotionally tied to the movie, as Forrest’s ties to the historical ties felt more and more far fetched. I liked the themes of destiny versus floating figure and the strength of true love.
