Speaking Is Difficult 2016
The film combines mundane pictures of normal life in various locations around the states, with intense police scanner audio from various shootings that happened at those locations. The contrast between the peaceful visuals and police scanner audio pushes the message that violence is everywhere and is a major problem. The ending with Gabrielle Giffords' short speech tied it together, and ended on a powerful note.

Nightcrawler 2014
Nightcrawler is an intense thriller-success story about a psychotic thief turned freelance videographer, who has an unusual interest in graphic scenery and events. Jake Gyllenhaal, who plays the main character, Louis Bloom, does an excellent job acting genuinely crazy, but very sincere in his actions and dialogue with others, which further shows his unusual mind. The act makes you wonder if he is actually psychotic off-screen.
The picture is also beautifully shot. The low key, high contrast, hard lighting really help accentuate the intense and eerie mood of the story, while not being overly intrusive.Translated from by
