Deadpool 2016
Action is awesome and still holds up 8 years later. As much as I wanted the humor to hold up, a lot of it fell flat. Maybe it’s because I’ve seen this movie atleast 5 times but after the 5th time it’s gets predictable. Blake Livelys hubby is still a 10 with the Deadpool makeup on. Definitely recommend if you want to kill 2 hours in a fun way.

Rise of the Planet of the Apes 2011
Honestly for a movie based on a chimp getting really smart, it wasn’t that bad. James Franco probably wasn’t the best cast type for the movie(he plays a scientist), but he’s charismatic and really takes the role seriously. If you don’t think too hard, this movie provides a lot of good entertainment. Movie is from 2011 but the CGI holds up for the most part (the apes aren’t actual apes believe it or not). Couldn’t give it above a 3 just because the writing was a bit lazy at times and A LOT of things had to go wrong for the movie to progress.
