  I guess I've got to re-read the story of Joshua, this wall of Jericho was MUCH different than what I remembered.

  The best romcoms still hold up 90+ years later.

  If they made 1000 movies with Fassbender as a perfect weirdo and Blanchette as a bored super genius, I would watch 1000 of them.

  Like all Soderbergh movies (even what he doesn't write) Black Bag was stylish, dense, and hilarious - maybe borrowing a bit too much from other stories but I didn't quite see the end coming so I can't be too mad.

  Did you clap? I clapped.

  The disaster movies I grew up with focused on the natural world betraying humanity. Leave the World behind is a different sort of disaster movie. One that despite some unevenness (and perhaps some retreading of familiar ground) is resonant like a headache that was already in the back of our minds.
