An amazing feat in episodic storytelling, with complex characters to complement it. A slow burn political game of chess that concludes with a brilliant checkmate. I wish the show had a bit more epic Samurai action, but that’s only my minor nitpick.
Shōgun will be an award winner for sure.
Mad Max: Fury Road is a masterclass in film making. Never before have I seen a technical production of this scale. From the character designs, the world building and the modified cars / trucks all worked together for a unforgettable ride while watching this film.
It gets going from the start and doesn't waste a second. Non-stop action set pieces throughout with minimal CGI puts Fury Road on an another level compared to other action blockbusters. After watching I'm excited for the upcoming projects set in this world.
The 2nd half is phenomenal too bad the first is a bit rocky.
Last thing I expected was a Dave’s coaches redemption arc
