i got a phobia of things that are too damn big and this mf does it for me. if i was faced with these things in person there’s no way im surviving that shit. BUT those aliens are pretty fucking awesome, that’s how you do a scary ass creature.

a very uncomfortable tense film that makes you grip onto your partner’s arm the entire time. filled with very unexpected jump scares and visuals making you look closer to make sure with what you’re seeing is true. nicholas cage did an amazing job (as usual) with giving us the most unsettling serial killer i’ve ever watched. his performance was filled with nonsense crazy and random musical numbers. maika monroe’s performance was definitely new behavior, i was sat feeling interested in how she would perform her next scene every time. overall just a very unsettling movie that leaves you feeling on edge after leaving the theater.
