This movie hit hard. Too hard.
The ambiguity of the crisis at hand in this movie and why Sophie is going through old home videos of their vacation, the existential dilemma Calum is going through clubbed with his responsibilities as a parent and finally what may or may not have occurred after Sophie's departure will either make you fall in love with this movie or dismiss it altogether, and I really do hope it's the former.
The what if, the longing, the realization, and the acceptance. This movie is just too raw. I have a whirlpool of emotions running through me writing this review. 10 minutes in and I thought it would be a wholesome movie with beautiful cinematography but as the movie progressed, I found myself, downhearted and even angry at Nora for leading Hae Sung on.
