Better Man 2024
An absolute thrill ride from start to finish with some outstanding transitions through scenes. Some of the best paced and told biopics that due to Robbie Williams heavy involvement, tell his story from his perspective of how he thought at a young age, showing him as being a deeply flawed individual instead of gutting any interest of an artists life in order to tell bullshit (COUGH COUGH bohemian rhapsody).
And let’s be honest him being a monkey is just the cherry on top

Borderlands 2024
Big borderlands fan. Form the get go borderlands style of humour and story just doesn’t translate to film and if they just followed the games characters and conflicts it would be ok at its very best.
But that’s not what you get. You get a bunch of a list celebrities cosplaying as the games “characters” while half of them are just a singular never changing static character trait from the game the other half don’t even match the source materiel.…

Deadpool & Wolverine 2024
This and guardians of the galaxy 3 are still the only new marvel movies to do anything remotely interesting lately.
As always Ryan absolutely was born to play deadpool and does his usual thing.
But holy shit Hugh jackman was absolutely fantastic and provided a lot of the heart of the movie. The fact that the movie constantly taking the piss out of the multiverse is able to utilise it better than most of the other marvel films as well as films in general that the cherry on top.
Oh and the cameos are great too. Easily the best of the deadpool trilogy.
