Entertaining cinema done fairly well, just all around fun. Also the lead actress fits her role really well, the casting is great.
This film will normally be judged on how well it was done, which I believe to be more than par. However, I was most enticed by it's authentic core, it excited me and I was excited precisely because of it's authenticity. As such, I see this film as very unique, highly informative, and I wish more of the same is made. I thoroughly enjoyed my viewing.

There's a scene where the grandfather is telling Baby how he never killed the animals that were there but only shot the gun to make them feel afraid. It was his son Matthews who started killing them, until only humans were left. The scene itself stuck out, and Baby listened to this story with more interest than in any other scene in the whole movie. I viewed it as the typical 'humans killing innocent animals, what's new?' As it turned out, it's parallel to the climax, killing off a predatory animal.
Timeless. I first watched this when I was 8 or so, but I still remembered. I really liked the central romance here, it was more mature and handled well than anything in anime or most movies if being honest. Overall, I had so much fun watching this.
