Too long for what ended up being a not so great ending. The upbeat piano music throughout literally any scene no matter the mood is a bit jarring at times. Gets an extra half star because it includes more than one shot of the Tom Cruise Sprint.

Ready Player One 2018
Biggest piece of nostalgia/nerd bait I've ever seen. Given the book did a lot of the same but did it in a way that still felt clever and showed that the author had genuine love for pop culture. This movie takes what the book did well ripped out its heart and shit all over. Nearly all of the clever mystery solving has was left out and the egg hunt was spoon fed to the characters. Almost zero stakes in the movie where in the book people were dying in real life because of IOI. One of the worst recent book adaptations.
