unfortunately, i did not care enough about shelly for this. the movie really only fleshes out her story and that’s really a shame being kieran shipka was riveting with her very small amount of screen time.
also some of this felt like a weird music video??? not my thing.

lily-rose really impressed me here. not a lot of actors in modern movies are doing that level of physical work. her commitment was impressive.
i wasn’t crazy about the way the camera moved, it took me out of the story with its smoothness. also i wish every shot looked more like the shot of the ship with the sun behind it. it was so dark that i feel like i missed a lot.
