  Movies don’t have to be good to be fun. Terrible science, terrible tornado safety measures, terribly unrealistic. However, Glenn Powell is cool and Daisy Edgar Jones is cool, the truck is cool, and the tornadoes are cool. Acting is fine. Not a lot to say, just a good time even if it is not a good movie

  The Personal History of David Copperfield 2019

  I cannot decide how I feel about this. The themes were a little all over the place but I think that’s done intentionally. It really is a story about love and loss, but I feel like it’s just missing something. The characters are all mostly lovable and have great personalities. The music is good, the designs are all good, there really is a lot to love. I might turn this into a new comfort movie

  Just an 80s classic horror movie. I think it holds up pretty well but just isn’t as scary now as it was back then. I am very glad I got around to watching it and I could see myself coming back to it every October
