  i heard someone say after the screening that they haven’t felt like they wanted to know more about characters in a movie in a while and i 100% agree

  honestly this was a masterclass in character writing, subtle acting, depiction of community and interpersonal connections, but also classic film aspects like cinematography and pacing. really loved this and the compassionate and hopeful view at the heart of it (as described by the director in the q&a)
