  A beautifully crafted and moving portrayal of a person struggling with alcohol addiction. Saoirse Ronan delivers a powerful, convincing performance, complemented by outstanding storytelling from Nora Fingscheidt and Amy Liptrot. The audio design and music are exceptional.

  I appreciate that the film balances heavy themes with light and fun moments. The choice to track time through the character’s hair color is clever, and the editing’s shifts in time mirror the unpredictable ups and downs of alcoholism. The contrast of the city versus nature, both visually and in sound design, is really well done.
