  saying every shot is beautiful does not do this film justice. the writing could be improved a LOT, but it's impressive how it romanticizes the little things. I felt uneasy as it progressed but I realize that was the intention - to me it seems metaphorical for your childhood dying. I wish the ending was more fufilling, but at the same time that's sort of how it feels growing up. it doesn't quite end, you're just adjusting to the world around you, "learning how to breathe."
