  I walked in under the assumption that this was a true story because my aunt, who took me to see it (yes the sex scenes were very awkward) said it was. If it had been I would’ve given this 4 or even 5 stars, but when I found out that it’s NOT the story was a little lost to me. For a 3 and a half hour movie the ending felt somehow rushed - why was there no explanation, or even allusion to how Laszlo became an accomplished architect? On the positive side the cinematography was surreal and really saved the movie for me.

  am i the only one who did not like this movie? it felt very bland, and like a cliche cancer story. Also kind of hated Florence’s character, who didn’t seem to ever prioritise Tobias’ (is that his name??) feelings. Did find it really funny at times though and the acting was great
