They simultaneously infodump everything that's going on, and do not set up anything at all. This is neither good nor enjoyable, but it's certainly interesting to watch. If you don't already know the story I'm not sure you'd have a clue what's going on at the end.

A well-crafted film about an incredibly interesting woman. There was a q and a after my screening and a particularly interesting comment about how an interview with Edna and her parents when Edna was in her 40s really showed a lie. The archival footage was so thorough and interviews with Edna's sons were particularly revealing.
