The Brutalist 2024
Totally see how opinions of this could go either. Really long, not particularly fast paced.
That being said, I think I really enjoyed this (definitely going to have to let this one fully marinate).

Overall:
- Really heavy but thought provoking movie about the American Dream.
- Not 100% sure how I feel about the ending.
- The first and second half of this are not the same movie.Would totally give a watch if you have a lot of time and mental stamina.

Two stars for the couple of moments I actually found myself enjoying this.
Songs = trash
Overall, just didn’t love this. Pacing felt weird. Little to no character development. Never got that drawn in to the movie.
Although shoutout to the queen Zoe Saldana, she ate with what they gave her.

Heart Eyes 2025
Thought this was a super entertaining movie. Great blend between a rom com and a slasher, which I wasn't expecting heading into it. Got caught chuckling throughout and thought the movie had some pretty solid thriller moments.
That being said...I don't think the movie was a standout in it's genre. While I was entertained, I thought it felt a little bit predictable at moments and followed a lot of the same tropes of similar movies (like the GOAT, Scream).
Overall, would for sure give this one a watch!
