Rabbits has a mesmerizing, eerie, and incredibly unnerving dialogue style. A feeling of discomfort is left behind by the disjointed, cryptic lines, spoken with awkward pauses and interrupted by inappropriate laughs. Language itself seems to disintegrate, leaving only echoes of meaning behind. I love how it turns everyday expressions into something terrifying, as if the characters are caught in a loop of unspoken truths.
