A movie from 2000, we get the beginnings of the understandings of the brilliance of the adult Christian Bale. In my opinion, the best book by Brent Easton Ellis. I believe it was an amazing transition into a movie. Where else are you going to find in depth analysis of songs by Huey Lewis and the News: intermingled with the graphic visuals of an immoral serial killer. I think it’s an interesting look at the trappings and the trap of wealth and the materialistic society that’s slowly contributes to the spiraling madness of the main character

A Real Pain 2024
I enjoyed this movie. I have definitely felt that the two lead actors play kind of the same characters in most movies. In this case, though they made it work. I think that Culkin certainly earned his academy award. The last minute of the film to me was a master class in emoting without words. A pleasant two hours with some fin acting and some emotional scenes that I found relevant.
