I understand why it highlights what it does. I enjoyed learning pepe's origin story, but after that there's a lot more to pepe than the niche alt-right adoption of it that the doc dives into. I use the word niche not to down play the community, but that it's percentage and representation of the internet population is surely minimal.
Not that it isn't interesting, but it feels like a sensationalist grab to focus so much on the 4chan aspect when Pepe has far wider influence, use, and representation on the internet. pepeHands.
