  Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone 2001

  I mean it’s not exactly bad, but it’s not very good. Mostly due to the runtime and lack of story progression during that time. It’s 2.5 hours long and those 2.5 hours here go by much slower than BR2049 or LotR’s 3+ hours. I’m giving it a 5 star rating and taking away a star for every hour of runtime, which works because I think this movie is the definition of mid. It’s sort of a non-story or a way to make time slow down, but I don’t think it’s bad.

  Kill Bill: Vol. 2 2004

  ★★★★½ Watched 18 Mar 2025

  “Bitch, you don’t have a future” is such a hard line.

  I think I still prefer the first Kill Bill, a lot of that is due to the amount of action. The fight against the crazy 88 was so cool, and I’m a little bummed the bride didn’t fight as many people in this half. That being said it was still great and I love a good happy ending. 

  Also, I’d kill Bill too, that dude does not shut up he was really irritating me.
