  Chilling, yet simultaneously seductive instant classic of the gothic horror genre. Truly does the original justice, providing the same refreshing take on the vampire genre where the vampire is depicted as a grotesque monster rather than the dracula-esque well-mannered foreigner with a exaggerated Hungarian accent and/or flawless sparkling skin on a chiseled body.

  Gorgeous cinematography, chilling story, and an uncut, plague-bringing vampire who just wants to be loved - how could someone not love this film?

  A quote from my girlfriend as the credits rolled at the end:
  "That was some crazy foreplay"

  Hot trash. First hour is incredibly boring, the bad guy is mostly just a weirdo. Picks up for all of like 15 minutes that were fine but not nearly worth the hour plus that was just a snoozer.
