  Deeply distressing. Watching a social car-wreck in slow motion, and remembering a series of bad behaviors attributable to childhood trauma. The uncanny representation of real toxic relationships speaks either to Brooks' ability to understand the neurosis of materialistic love or his experience with such behavior.

  Poetic waxing aside, Brooks' takes us on a tour in the life of a heartbroken and unhealthily attached 30-something. Worth a watch.

  Bad pacing, bad script, mediocre story, and half-finished worldbuilding. The entire budget went to VFX, and I'm kind of okay with it.
