Minority Report 2002
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
What's so creepy about Minority Report is that it shows a plausible future. The film itself is truly great and it was the first time I realized Tom Cruise can actually act and that he's not a bad actor at all.
But one thing has bothered me since the first time I saw the movie and I haven't found an answer to my question, yet.Why has Steven Spielberg decided to shoot a scene that's straight from L.A. Confidential's script?…

The Great Gatsby 2013
Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gatsby is like an eye and ear orgasm. As a viewer you don't know where to look first - at the glitz and glamour, the costumes, the set design or the stunning photography, wishing you could be attending one of Gatsby's partys. And then there's the music. Hip Hop meets Jazz, Electro meets Swing. It all fits perfectly well and nothing is out of place. I don't know how he did it, but he did great.

Hunger 2008
i can't believe "hunger" is steve mcqueen's debut film. really, i can't. "hunger" is one of the rare films, who is haunting from the very first minute. the film is thought-provoking, the cinematography is marvellous and the directing is just stunning. in fact, the scene where michael fassbender talks to liam cunningham is the most beautiful played and shot scene i've seen in a very long time. speaking of which - michael fassbender's perfomance is literally breathtaking. i think it's safe to say that he's hands down the best actor around.
