Conclave 2024
12 angry men but make it 108, honestly the movie is quite touching even for an atheist, there are several scenes where Fiennes acting displays such raw emotions you can’t avoid being touched by it, cinematography is also truly great.
However, I think the plot could be improved by having more multidimensional characters, they felt a little black and white, with few grey ones, it is atoned by the fact that they are sufficiently compelling and the subject matters are hard ones to tackle.

Grand Theft Hamlet 2024
Having spent a fair bit of my youth playing video games, and forming these online communities, I think this documentary is a quite refreshing display of what these online realms can offer, be it as a medium to express our creativity or most importantly a way to create lasting bonds with complete strangers amid randomness and chaos

I'm Still Here 2024
This film was able to truly capture the beauty and nostalgia of 90’s Rio de Janeiro juxtaposed with the barbarity and ugliness of the military dictatorship
Unfortunately timely, with authoritarian regimes being back to vogue worldwide

Frances Ha 2012
To me, the viewing experience of Frances Ha is one of catharsis. I read once online that at a first watch you immediately hate all characters, however, I don't think that needs to be true, the characters in this film feel so real in part because of their imperfections, and it is extremely reassuring seeing them in their journey where don’t necessarily win or lose, but simply try to survive existing at a such complicated moment in their lives
