I live for this shit! What a masterfully crafted film. Paul Newman and Robert Redford are up there for the top duo in motion picture history. They have chemistry that very few actors have. The other performances were all specular as well. The story was brilliant, so many twists and turns and tense moments that kept me into it throughout. Rain Man 1988
What a nice film. Tom Cruise and Dustin Hoffman played so well together and their performances were amazing. I think this film does a good job of not being too offensive when showing its portrayal of someone with a mental disability and educating people. Sure, it may be dated in some aspects but I believe this film brings a better portrayal than a lot of films shows and out there. It’s heartwarming, sad at times, a character arc, and funny moments.
