  Thought it was very funny. As a thriller it was meh, the drama and horror stylisation started too early but honestly i just saw it all as a comedy. Plot and any “meaning” or “message” didn’t really exist for me, was just a good funny watch based on a fun concept.

  I think people have let their hatred for Marvel boil up inside them and overshadow the good things about these movies. Whilst the pacing was a little shaky in the first half and the tone was a little annoying that they had to have a quip every 20 seconds even in serious moments, this was all ironed out by the second half. Super funny (never a surprise with Taika) and actually ended up feeling pretty heartfelt with a cool unique ending. Bale was a great villain that felt different enough to be exciting.
