I've been thinking about this movie recently from a more political standpoint, and I've got to say, I really dislike how "revolution" is presented to the audience in this.

the first problem I have with this is that in this film, society is presented as perfect. A place where every human can thrive. The problem with society is not that it creates suffering, but that it is artificial.

I enjoyed this movie, and I'm just generally happy that Nosferatu is getting attention in 2025. But I can't say it's my favourite Robert Eggers film (The Lighthouse is a billion times better).
    Positives:
    -Good acting

    -Amazing lighting
-The erotic framing is truly uncomfortable
    -Nosferatu's transylvanian accent…

The way Vince Gilligan uses imagery to represent Jessie's PTSD was especially heart-breaking. This movie is a beautiful meditative experience of contemplation. I care about Jessie Pinkman more than almost any other fiction character.

I like how, despite how terrific the film is, it is also extremely slow and serene. The movie depicts primates being at war, and it depicts humans having to deal with the technology they created gaining instrumental BLOODTHIRST. However, the movie never lets you indulge in the horror of what's happening, and instead, the movies frames itself by its own cinematography and tone, as something beautiful and miraculous taking place. We never see anyone screaming or crying, partially because the…
