Macross: Do You Remember Love? 1984
This made about as much sense watched now as it did when I watched a warbly VHS dub of it as a kid. Cool designs but come onnnnnn

Untold: Sign Stealer 2024
Thankful that this movie specified the conditions under which the alleged sign stealing would be illegal in the college version of the sport, because even a casual viewer of the professional game would know the communication is (mostly) over encrypted radio to the players.
Compelling pacing and leaves the viewer in two minds of who to side with, despite the unlikeable nature of pretty much all parties.
Hats off to Stallion for having the patience to document every type of signal though, that's dedication.

Blade Runner 1982
Fuck mang Blade Runner (Director's Cut) might be my favorite film, or at least up there. Every frame is a gorgeous painting. The world feels real. The music is unreal. The themes are valid.
But I hadn't seen the theatrical cut, with the voiceover narration and stuff, until now, because it was out of theaters by the time I got to it, and home video releases were the Director's Cut.
But what a different movie it is! Much more approachable,…
