12 men, one room, five stars. No special effects, no wasted dialogue. There is no reasonable doubt in my mind that it is anything other than a masterpiece.
This movie very nearly decided my career path when I was about 8. The scene where DiCaprio walks down the terminal with his entourage of air hostesses whilst wearing that crisp Pan-Am uniform was all I could have asked for in life. Instead, it decided my career path at about 18 when I finally did decide to become a con man. Woops, hope no one reads this. Thanks Frank.
One of the few serious movie reviews I'll give because it deserves it. It's not often that I could deem a film to be close to flawless, but this is one of them. Idk, like nothing really happens. Nothing higher level is examined. It's just a bit wierd (which isn't in itself bad) but the character feels a bit lost as a vessel to explore anything other than his immediate actions.
