  Ayo, amazing as always. My main gripe however is as follows:
  There are other great movie scripts out there that don’t include the plot of a young, skeptical, generally under noticed woman going into a cult experience and being chosen by the leader while the more gullible around her parish. 

  Still found this entertaining, but I felt like I knew the plot of the movie within the first thirty minutes. I might like this more than Midsommar but I also just am an Ayo apologist like every other progressive leaning, chronically online woman in their mid 20s.

  Yea so a couple different thoughts:
  1) we should bring hand to hand combat at parties back
  2) maybe if men went back to wearing skirts they would act more like men
  3) was this movie groundbreaking? No. But has any action movie ever been groundbreaking? I won’t comment any further on that

  As someone with a Robert Pattinson phobia, I liked this more than I thought. Mark Ruffalo continues to make every movie he’s in exponentially funnier and more engaging. Macaroon backstory was perfection.
