  loved this movie! they casted the characters so well based on the descriptions in the book and it was a real tear jerker. i gave it 4.5 stars because it was a little choppy and the music didn’t match the plot and was kinda random at times. i definitely prefer the book and musical but considering the time of production it makes sense. i watched the “full novel” version so i was able to see more scenes that didn’t make it into the original release and loved how similar it was to the book.
