I wish the ending was a little meaner. Great tension in this, Hugh Grant is so unsettling.

Alien: Romulus 2024
The body horror, the score, the final girl and the character design checked off all the boxes for me. Unfortunately, the frequent callbacks kept me irked. Little is needed to know you are watching an Alien film beyond xenomorphs and some face hugging. I really enjoyed the experience of watching this film and I don't think it's a bad movie by any stretch. I just hope we can move beyond the obvious references and line drops in cinema remaking and reimagining classics.
