Something about this just kept missing the mark and the DV storyline felt like an afterthought to the plot. I’ve heard the book explores in more depth but I am a proud Colleen Hoover virgin and would like to stay that way.

This movie is underrated and I’ll be recommending it to everyone before it comes off Netflix!
I genuinely enjoyed it so much, thought it was well paced (unlike other periodic English movies) and actually funny. The fact that it’s a true story just tickles me too. I also love (Brown) Women Police Officers 🫡
