the idea was pretty unique and promising but i don’t like how it turned out. The moral of the story was very blurry and failed to address matters on race correctly. If you’re not going to pour effort into a well rounded allegory than perhaps leave the part out where you call liberated white people „colored“ in a black and white 1950s sitcom

well this was a violent mix of emotions:
camera work was great, the concept had potential, the topics sadly still very much relevant; however: this film did not feel like a woman directed it. even though the main character condemned the rape scene, there wasn’t much done about it; the characters lacked depth and the plot about police violence against poc was weirdly narrated like a side story? AND the end -what was that? happy police make up party and flat main douche bag gets the girl (who was way out of his league anyway)..disappointingTranslated from by -
