Loosely a film lover, fantasy/sci-fi is my favorite genre, and I'm pretty much always down for a comic book movie.

Aaron Taulor-Johnson is nice enough to look at, sure...but that's not going to save a bad film.
I had a lot of fun with the ridiculousness of it, the bizarre action and whatnot...but I'm pretty sure they weren't hoping for laughter at the points where I was laughing. This wasn't well-written. I did enjoy the music.

Sergei's an idiot, and leaving his abusive, pos dad without taking his younger brother with him ends in the most predictable way…

Eh. Not the ending this trilogy deserved.

I like some of the action sequences - especially Rey & Kylo in the sand, which looked really cool.
    I like Babu Frik.
I'm never going to not like Poe & Finn. I still really like the relationship between Rey & Kylo.

I'm not a fan of Palpatine's return. I like even less that it was told to us right up front before the film even gets underway, because if you're going to pull that shit,…

X universe, this is the origin story of X's murderous villain, Pearl.

I enjoyed watching this, and I had a good time. It didn't hit me with quite the same impact that X did, but that's kind of to be expected; I knew better what I would be getting in this one. I did love seeing Mia Goth again! I love how she makes it look as though smiling is physically painful at times. She is top-notch over-the-top in this,…

I really enjoy the new cast, and it's lovely to see the og members. I never really cared about the original trilogy, and didn't like the prequels outside of some of the cast. Of this franchise, this is much more my jam, despite it's similarities to A New Hope. BB 8 is adorable, and I love him.
