so the SpaceX car launch was an easter egg.
heavy metal 1981 is quite a trip. i really appreciated the mixed media animation, i think i noticed some live action, rotoscoping, and a real set piece that got blown up at the end. i also enjoyed all the different art styles. it’s pretty much a sci-fi anthology. each story is illustrated differently, with aesthetics that ranged from frank frazzetta-esque to fritz the cat-ish lol. i loved it. film’s kinda horny,…
