In a perfect more just world the 90s/ early 2000s would've been filled with earnest and fun pulp and indie comic movie adaptations and then no further comic book movies would be made whatsoever. We need more movies where a little guy fights a HUGE guy

Real fucking Cinema. How mad do you think the police procedural industrial complex is that the concept of "man who thinks he's Sherlock Holmes solves crimes with a doctor conveniently named Watson" was already done as a movie in the 70s? The moment where Holmes is walking into battle while all his freaky friends join him is one of the greatest moments in cinematic history.
