This movie honestly just hurt. It didn't make me cry but was still painful to witness. So surreal how one small interaction can change your life forever. Candy being with Dan when she had so much opportunity and so much worth, and just having to watch her slowly detartrate and just lose her mind was genuinely insane. It wasn't like she was some baby angel before, I mean we know she did coke but heron just pushed her to a new unimaginable height. Her conformance in Dan being what got her into it and sort of being what got her out in the end too.
