    Spaghetti western ride part 181

Decent Spaghetti by Giorgio Ferroni and the second Italo western with Giuliano Gemma, in his known 'acrobatic' style (among others dodging the bullets).
Interesting story, especially the first part is entertaining.
It features some nice elements; a bearded Gemma, sawn off revolvers, a silver dollar in a lead role, the protagonist that can not be shot.

    Spaghetti western ride part 180

Alberto De Martino's fourth and last Italo western.
Starts very promising with a great opening scene. A somewhat unusual take on things, especially for such an early Spaghetti, good acting, great score. And it furthermore features the first, if very small, appearance of George Eastman.

Very decent early spaghetti western, the first real Corbucci, after Massacre at Grand Canyon which he co-directed. In some ways the movie still feels a bit like an American western, but it has a lot of Italo western ingredients. It features a good story, some nice shots, an aging hero going blind and a great final showdown.

Recently found out that this movie was co-directed by Mario Bava although uncredited. Cameron Mitchell mentioned this in an interview. He stated that while Corbucci, working on numberous movies at the same time, wasn't on the set Mario Bava would take over the directional work.

    The Giallo experience part 42

The movie starts off with a promising and harsh opening scene.
After which it sets down for a following that constantly alternates between extravagantness and dullness.
Better parts consists of the scene in the eerie windy room with the weird dolls and the costumed, loony, orgy scene, that was entertaining if quite tedious.
    Other perhaps noteworthy elements:

    - some topless dancing by afro hair cutted Shawn Robinson (who apparently never did another film) that perhaps…
