All of this, by the way, was a direct result of awfully strict, imposing Asian families, especially immigrant ones, and their impossible expectations. They have been ruining their children mentally, physically and emotionally for countless generations; the cycle simply continues from generation to generation.
I know what Jennifer Pan did, and to be honest, I can see why. I don't agree with it, obviously, but I do sympathise.
