Dark.
Gloomy.
British.All-in-all pert' near a perfect period piece. Those who I keep close to me know I despise the accent, but this film was good enough to help me look over it.
The film doesn't feel like it has any natural lulls yet feels sufficiently long. Something that is hard to do, given the subject matter and the time frame.
