  If I had a nickel for every time a 2024 Oscar nominated film about a falsely imprisoned black man moved me to tears I'd have 2 nickels. Which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice

  I really struggled to decide if the humour of this film was excessive but actually I think so much sci-fi is so bleak that's it's so refreshing to see a movie be an absolute riot whilst still being quite bleak.

  Even the parts of the film that lack any real subtlety land really well because they're so over the top funny.

  The least believable part was the fact they would let someone as hot as Robert Pattinson die repeatedly. He's too much of a treasure
