Robert De Niro does a pretty good job of playing two characters; however, considering they are not brothers or twins, it is a little distracting and maybe not the best choice. Expectations = blown out the water. I was skeptical coming into this. Trailer didn’t draw me in that much. The reviews have been mixed, i guess understandably. But what a fucking ride. Many uncomfortable moments. But you just have to take them as they come. It was often hilarious too. The acting was great across the board, but Barry Keoghan is fucking brilliant. Even though he’s far too old to be playing an 18 year old. Rosamund Pike is faultless too. Deffo be watching this again in the near future.

It’s overhated and everyone is overreacting, the MCU is not dead, there is just some clear issues around writing and directing etc at this current moment. Seems like they are building and building for this huge event in a few years, but it just isn’t seamless like it was for the infinity saga. I may not hate it, but it wasn’t that good.
