A Royal Affair 2012
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
I came in expecting a romantic period drama and I stayed for the intricate plot (and mads).
Early on in the movie, the mood and the lightning suggested a playful lighthearted movie but as it progressed I understood how well it depicts human relationships and everyday problems amidst all the political drama, which also doesn’t come too short.
The King is so very well played, that one can really feel the mixed emotions of pity, fun and crazy but also…
