Coming accross 90's movies, I got into it because the suspens proper to Stephen King's writing was well presented by the directory. Likes the actresses' performances too. Got old on many points though.

I was quite skeptical about watching a movie about a director's family. It's always this question and process of making a personnal story dramatic for an audience. Yet it managed to capture the complexities of cultural, spatial and intergenerational mouvements and evolutions in a family. She managed to bring the warmth out of a family's misunderstandings and frustrations, bringing into light the wholeness of a shared memory.
