  - i love sean wang’s work so much 
  - this felt so nostalgic and homey to me as someone who also grew up in the bay area 
  - growing up and getting older gives me anxiety all the time. this film made those anxieties feel a little lighter and reminded me of how grateful i am to explore my passions and not worry about the same things my immigrant parents did

  Sundance #2: Library Theatre, Park City

  this film better get a wide release bc kendrick lamar would love this 

  my thoughts:
  - “i need that stripper to be FLYING” 
  - saw the world premiere of this film and the energy was so electric! the entire theater was laughing 
  - i love how the dialogue felt so authentic and unscripted, and how us as the viewer just felt like a fly on the wall looking in
  - got to see a Q&A with the directors and cast!
