  i obviously came into this film with a western-centric and ignorant perspective, so there were some things that actual turkish people could critique infinitely better than i. that being said, i did enjoy this film. there were certain scenes like the sisters at the football match that evoke so much emotion. yet, i completely respect the opinions of actual turkish women in this movie being catered to a western audience. i know nothing of turkey or the experiences of women…
